Since its founding in 1970, Earth Day has been a catalyst for unity and action. The global grassroots movement reminds us of the importance of sustainability—from the decisions we make in our personal lives to the actions of organizations large and small.
Environ Energy is committed to driving positive change, and we strive to grow a healthier planet through our business and our people. Our services give organizations the tools and support they need to act in ways that make business sense and also are good for their communities and the environment. Individually, our team members integrate sustainable practices in the choices they make every day.
This year’s Earth Day theme, OUR POWER, OUR PLANET focuses on renewable energy with a target of tripling clean electricity by 2030. We can work toward that common goal together.
How Environ Helps Organizations Save the Earth
For Environ Energy, Earth Day isn’t just a reminder to do better—it’s a reflection of the work we do every day. Across sectors like healthcare, education, commercial real estate, and local government, our teams are helping organizations understand their environmental footprint and take meaningful steps to reduce it.
Sometimes that means digging into utility data to find hidden inefficiencies. Other times, it’s about setting science-based emissions targets or mapping out a long-term decarbonization plan. We support clients as they navigate energy procurement, improve building performance, and report on sustainability goals with confidence.
It’s the people behind the platform who help organizations stay focused and make steady progress. In short, we’re here to help clients connect the dots between what they value and what they do—because saving the earth isn’t a single action. It’s a series of informed decisions, made with purpose.
Local Action for Global Good
On Tuesday, April 22, our team gathered virtually to connect, engage, and celebrate as we observed Earth Day with knowledge building trivia and quizzes and shared ways that we include sustainable practices in our lives. From taking reusable bags to the grocery store to avoiding chemicals in our homes and yards, there are many ways we help foster a healthier planet.
In past years, we have marked Earth Day by volunteering in our communities. Last year, for example, staff members collected trash to clean up outdoor spaces from Colorado to Montenegro, lent a hand at an animal shelter and wildlife rescue, and volunteered with a nature conservancy. In line with Environ’s vision “to help the world transition to a more cooperative, productive, and sustainable future,” we give our employees paid time off to volunteer with nonprofit organizations throughout the year.
A Shared Commitment to People and the Planet
Earth Day serves as a reminder of the ongoing responsibility we all share in creating a sustainable future. At Environ Energy, sustainability isn’t just a focus of our business—it’s embedded in the way we approach every project, every decision, and every relationship.
From helping clients reduce emissions to encouraging our team members to volunteer for local environmental causes, our commitment to sustainability extends beyond the office. It’s about making lasting change—whether through data-driven strategies that help organizations reduce their environmental impact or through the smaller actions that collectively add up to big results. As we celebrate Earth Day, we’re reminded that progress comes from both individual and collective effort. Together, we can continue to lead with purpose and drive lasting change for the planet.
