Jeff Hogan
Environ Vice President, Sustainability
Jeff brings more than seven years of energy and sustainability management experience in the healthcare space to Environ. In his role, Jeff is responsible for supporting all the Sustainability Division’s business segments with a focus on driving efficiency, product development, growth and expansion. Jeff provides clientele with advisory services and direction on both macro-economic and localized market trends to support key decision-making; support customers with forward purchases of energy commodity and overall risk management; manage energy-efficiency project initiation, development, construction and operation; and oversee long-term client sustainability planning and accounting for greenhouse gas emissions.
Before joining Environ, Jeff worked as the Energy and Commissioning Program Manager at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, where he managed energy projects and procurement across their growing portfolio of hospitals. During that time, Jeff successfully executed the aggregation of the NYPH utility portfolio, yielding millions of dollars of year-over-year budgetary savings for the organization. Also while at NYPH, Jeff successfully managed and grew a Green Revolving Fund by installing energy-conservation measures that produced incentive checks covering on average 50% of the project’s cost. Before NYPH, Jeff served as the Energy and Sustainability Manager at Montefiore Hospital for more than three years. In his role, he oversaw a broad range of waste-reduction and energy-conservation projects and programs throughout their healthcare and real estate portfolio. Specifically, Jeff implemented an energy procurement strategy that aggregated the growing Montefiore building portfolio into a singular contract, utilized creative financing solutions to implement energy and capital projects, launched the health system’s first Energy Committee with senior-level support, and procured significant incentives for multiple green infrastructure projects (green roofs).
